Solar Activity

Solar activity this week was low to moderate, with 1 M class flare and a number of C class flares. The majority of these flares were produced by AR 11692 which will rotate off the disk within the next 24 hours. There are currently 6 active regions on the disk, 5 of which will rotate over the limb in the next 48 hours.

How many GOES flares occurred?

 Flares above B, C, M, X class were     18    26     1     0

And how many of these are listed in the RHESSI flare list?

And how many had EXCELLENT coverage?

The SSR is emptying after each pass set with a maximum fill level of ~20%.

Spacecraft Status

Temperature ~112 K and 111 K for cold plate 1 and 2 respectively. The spin rate is ~14.8rpm

Detector issues

There were a couple of isolated spikes in Detector 3 and 6.

Other notes

A slow network connection from SAS server caused some data gaps throughout the week. However the data is now downloaded.
