Solar Activity

Solar activity this week was very low. There is only one active region on disk. Solar activity is expected to continue at low levels.

How many GOES flares occurred?

 Flares above B, C, M, X class were 5 0 0 0

And how many of these are listed in the RHESSI flare list?

 Flares above B, C, M, X class were 2 0 0 0

And how many had EXCELLENT coverage?

 Flares above B, C, M, X class were 1 0 0 0

There were RHESSI flares/GOES flares 2 / 5 over the time range 14-Nov-17 21-Nov-17

Memory Management

The SSR level has been toggling around 25%. It reached a minimum of ~5% and the maximum of ~35%.

Spacecraft Status

Detectors 1, 3, 6 and 8 are active and taking data.

The cold plate 1 and 2 temperatures are ~157.2K and 155.3K. The shadow length will reach its relative minimum on Nov. 25.

Currently the Cryocooler power is ~75 W and the acceleration is at ~11mg.

Detector issues

The attenuator thresholds were increased to account for a background deadtime of 26% deadtime on G3 (at 2017-319-22:05 UTC). The thresholds are as follows:

%deadtime attnuator state
0.00 Min A0
30.98 Max A0 <--Thin in
27.45 Min A1 <--Thin out
32.94 Max A1 <--Thick in
26.67 Min A2
40.78 Max A2
28.24 Min A3 <--Thick out
100.00 Max A3

Other notes

A software issue with D6 spectrograms was fixed and the data are now being reprocessed.
