Summary
A meeting was held at Goddard on Friday, 30 October 2009, to discuss the future of solar gamma-ray and neutron physics. About a dozen local scientists from Goddard, NRL, and UNH attended.
Three main areas of discussion were as follows:
- Current and on-going work in solar gamma-ray and neutron physics.
- Areas of commonality and opportunities for collaboration.
- Plans for future instruments and space missions.
The schedule of presentations is given below.
A list of Science Questions was created at the conclusion of this meeting.
It was agreed that a follow-up meeting would be held in the spring of 2010.
